Campanha disponibilize seu Feed completo!

Estou aderindo à campanha Disponibilize seu Feed COMPLETO!, e também disponibilizando o Feed parcial.

Já estava pensando neste assunto a um certo tempo, depois o Bruno Alves também me falou sobre isso, agora acabei de ler no BlogAjuda que o Rafael Arcanjo estava iniciando esta campanha, sendo assim, depois de muito pensar e refletir, também estou aderindo à campanha.

A partir de hoje estarei disponibilizando o conteúdo completo dos artigos nos feeds, sendo assim, todos aqueles que assinam meus feeds não serão obrigados a visitarem o site toda vez que se interessarem por um artigo, mas espero que continuem visitando para postarem comentários, opniões e para partilharmos informações.

Cito uma passagem do artigo Usabilidade do seu feed RSS: “Ser assinante de um feed deve trazer benefícios, já que estes são leitores fiéis e antenados. Ter que ficar visitando o blog a cada novo post, sem dar a eles a possibilidade de ler seus textos através do agregador, não é um benefício, mas sim um martírio!”

Espero que todos gostem da novidade e que continuem compartilhando seus conhecimentos com todos os vistantes do site.

[update 06/11/2006 16:50] Quem ainda não se convenceu a disponibilizar o seu Feed completo, pode ler as frases que o Alexandre Fugita reuniu no artigo: Em defesa do feed completo, leitura altamente recomendada àqueles que ainda não se decidiram em deixar ou não os Feeds completos, e aqueles que já aderiram à campanha ficam vários motivos interessantes que ratificam sua decisão, valeu Alexandre.

[update 09/11/2006 14:30] A Bia escreveu no artigo O outro lado da campanha dos feeds completos sobre a importância de disponibilizar um Feed completo e um parcial, então, para ser democrático estou disponibilizando também o meu Feed parcial.

[update 10/11/2006 14:02] Para aqueles que querem disponibilizar dois Feeds e ainda não sabem como fazer, tenho duas opções, a primeira válida para qualquer gerenciador de blog, a segunda específica para usuários do WordPress:

1) Configurar outro endereço do FeedBurner apontando para o seu Feed original, só que delimitando a quantidade de caracteres a serem exibidos (Optmize / Summary Burner).

2) Fazer o download do arquivo wp-rss2-parcial.phps, colocá-lo na raiz de seu domínio e apontar os Feeds parciais para este arquivo, este arquivo está configurado para exibir os dois primeiros parágrafos do texto.

Ví que a dúvida surgiu com o Felipe, no artigo Disponibilize (também) seu Feed COMPLETO!, mas pode ser que mais pessoas tenham esta dúvida. Caso tenham mais alguma dúvida, é só perguntar que tento ajudar.

A verdade é que em uma conversa por email ele acabou optando por divulgar o feed completo, mas não foi eu quem convenceu não :p
